About Dr. Stephanie Trahan
D.M.D., M.P.H., M.A.Hello! My name is Dr. Stephanie Trahan, and I started Goodland Children’s Dentistry to provide exceptional oral health care in Santa Barbara. I am a board-certified pediatric dentist trained at Boston University, UCLA, and the United States Air Force.
I received a full scholarship to Boston University from the USAF and practiced dentistry while serving on active duty for five years. I then transitioned to private practice by providing quality dental care to children in disadvantaged areas. I returned to academia after eight years of practice to pursue my specialty training in pediatrics at UCLA with the help of the GI Bill.
I am passionate about changing attitudes toward dentistry and believe working with children in a fun environment can have a long-term positive effect on our society.
